    Kpop Bopping

Hello there people of the internet. How’s it going? I had an okay Labor Day weekend. I had a kpop listening party by myself. It could’ve been with other people but it was just with my three pets. Kcon LA 2022 had their music event so I’ve been watching the performances from Stray Kids, Ateez, Enhypen and NCT Dream. It wasn’t like an actual party but it just felt like one of bopping along and enjoying the performances as they’re obviously my favorite groups. I definitely enjoyed Ateez’s performance to “Wonderland” since that was the only song I was familiar with and one of the songs I had on repeat. I liked all the songs that Stray Kids, NCT Dream and Enhypen sung too for their performance set. If you search “kcon la 2022” into YouTube you should be able to bop along too and if you’re a fan you can just watch along too.

The other groups were there also at Kcon but I’m not familiar at all with them so I just only watched the four that I like. I’m just glad they were full performance and not fancams. I even discovered a new soloist and I’ve been bopping along to his song called “BTBT” and listening to it on repeat since two days ago. The awesome soloist is called B.I. Wikipedia explains about him better me than me having to summarize his info so just read what it says on their page. He’s not new new but he is to me since I’ve never heard of him before since two days ago. Kprofiles.com have his info on there too that might be different from Wikipedia. He debuted as a solo artist in 2021 and left iKon in 2019. I’ll try and listen to his other songs too. I’m sad he doesn’t have a lot of stage performances yet to watch through. Hopefully more will be uploaded to YouTube.

I thought I’d try to blog some and let you know what I discovered also Stray Kids is gonna make a comeback too. I saw their Maxident trailer and it looked good from what I saw. I wonder what their songs are going to sound like even the visuals for their videos. Any other STAYs excited too? I saw in an article there’s going to be Kcon Japan 2022 in October. Ateez and TXT is going to be there to perform. It’ll be exciting to see what songs they’ll perform. It’s fun in general to see when my idols perform. Sadly where I am I’ve never ever seen any type of concert set here before as they’re always in other states that isn’t here. Have you guys been to concerts before? What was it like when you went? Bye for now until next entry.

    Favorite Kpop #9: Super Junior

Super Junior is a South Korean boy band formed by Lee Soo-man, the founder of SM Entertainment in 2005. They’re also known as SJ or SuJu. Over the years, they have been divided into smaller groups, simultaneously targeting different music industries and audiences. The members have also individually branched out into hosting, presenting and acting. Their successes and popularity as all-rounded entertainers have led other Korean entertainment managements to also begin training their music groups in other aspects of the entertainment industry. Super Junior was the best-selling K-pop artist for four years in a row. The group has earned thirteen music awards from the Mnet Asian Music Awards, nineteen from the Golden Disc Awards, and are the second singing group to win Favorite Artist Korea at the 2008 MTV Asia Awards after jtL in 2003.

Before the group settled with their current name, the company simply referred to them as juniors, a representation of the members’ young ages when they first became SM trainees. After the members showcased their different talents to the company at a picnic, the company finalized their group name to Super Junior, and the first generation of Super Junior officially became Super Junior 05. Super Junior 05 made their pre-debut performance on the Korean channel Mnet on September 11, 2005. Super Junior received seven nominations at the 2007 Mnet/KM Music Festival, winning three of them which included Artist of the Year, termed by many as the highest recognition of the ceremony. Super Junior collected two more recognitions at the 22nd Golden Disk Awards, including a Disk Bonsang award (Record of the Year).

In short they won a bunch of awards and over time their other achievements too, some of the members had to leave for the military service once they came of age to go. For the rest of the info go check out their Wikipedia page. It’s sad when these kpop males go off for their military service but it’s good they’re helping out their country and that their fans will miss them but happy when they return safely. They had subgroups too where some could work on their solo activities. I never paid any attention to that part of Suju but Wikipedia explains it better than me or other sites that have information about them that’s current. I don’t have a bias for the group but I’ve enjoy their songs and the songs listed below I’ve enjoyed listening too which you might like as well.

I don’t have a bias in the group as they generally all look good when they sing and dance together. It’s cool they accomplished a lot as group until some had to depart for their military service but the members that stayed did solo projects. Their fandom name is E.L.F which stands for ever lasting friends. Not much else I can think of to add so here’s the review. Here’s their official website below that you can check out
